Mignonga case it an "unholy mess"

In anime’s #MeToo moment, Vic Mignogna a no-show at Tarrant County hearing and his case is mostly an unholy mess

In another exchange, a slightly exasperated Chupp said, “Am I not being clear?” Beard [Mignogna's lawyer]  responded, “No, your honor, it’s that I’m not listening“ -- to which the judge said, “It would help if you would.”



The whole article is worth a read. Parts are a hoot.

Unsurprisingly, Mignogna's fans are calling the article "biased" because they complete miss that it is tagged opinion and commentary.  Oh, and they are claiming that the judge must have been bribed because that it the only way this "injustice" could have happened.

Following the lawyers on Twitter who are following the case is hilarious.

One Vicstain who was in the courtroom claimed his lawyer wasn't even there, just a secretary. Because there are no female lawyers on his planet.

Yeah, I've been following the comments at ANN about the case. There is one poster who keeps regurgitating stuff from Kiwi Farms and Rekieta Law about the case. Said poster pretty stubbornly refuses to grasp how idiotic his comments are. But he says he's just trying to be fair...Yeah, right.

If you want fairness, file your fucking motions on time. Also they shouldn't be completely stupid.

And it helps to have a lawyer who actually is prepared.

But they are that stupid. And some have been threatening the judge. On the judge's Facebook page. That hasn't been updated in a decade.
