Feb. 4th, 2020 06:01 pmThere was this nice, large Barnes & Noble that I used to drive past going to and from work. It closed last year and sat empty for months. This morning I noticed what was finally going in to the empty building: a gun store, one that boasts of having "one of the country's largest collections of militaria, uniforms, weapons, and memorabilia of all types". Yup, from a bookstore to a super gun store.
Somehow, I think that says so much about the times we live in.

Date: 2020-02-07 12:15 am (UTC)We still have a few B&N stores. It still seems appalling how few bookstores we have in a city this big. Worse still, bookstores struggle to survive, but gun stores are doin' just fine. And it seems like there's a gun show every other week. But yet those gun toting snowflakes keep whining about there's 2nd amendment rights being under attack. Please!
